this is the best reason yet

If there is a lockout there won't be any actual hockey for me to pay attention to, at least not right away, and then I'll spend all of this extra brain power thinking about epically dumb things like what if the Oilers tried to market their team like a boy band? They'd get a totally different demographic, and it would work too! But hopefully the lockout won't be a thing, or at least just a small thing, because I really do want to use my brain in more useful ways.
